In August 2019 a training room at the base of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment was dedicated to the school. It is a room all soldiers of the regiment will use and will cement the bond Beatrix Potter has with the Regiment from this moment on.

Whilst at the base we also presented Bertha’s great niece with new information the children had discovered, in this photo Berha is with her fello VAD’s who arrived together including Francis Cluett whose diary became the history of Newfoundland VAD’s
