ENRICHMENT THROUGH EXPERIENCE

Having the opportunity to really explore the world around us is enormously beneficial.

Not only does it give context but it gives value and real depth to what we learn in the classroom. Our school trips are enormously enjoyable and also help our children to develop their vocabulary and articulate their opinions. Every class takes trips (Covid 19 withstanding) throughout the year to places the compliment the learning. That may local trips such as to Wandsworth Common, or Earlsfield Library. Or you might find us going further afield by coach or train to visit the theatre or a farm.

Our residential school journeys are excellent experiences and guarantee life long memories. In Years 3 and 4 children take a three day residential for some active outdoors learning. In Years 5 and 6 we visit the Plas Menai watersports centre for 5 days. An incredible sailing experience!

Children who are entitled to pupil premium will be fully funded for all trips and residentials (one visit each to the two residentials). In addition, families that are experiencing financial challenges but are not eligible for free school meals may apply for a hardship grant to contribute towards the costs.
