The whole area of SEN is undergoing change in schools. How it is funded, the role of statements, schools and the local authority is being altered. Is this going to improve things is difficult to say at this point. The funding issues are certainly going to be the most contentious.

- West Hill Enhanced Children’s Centre has published their Spring 2017 timetable, (attached) which includes lots of activities, workshops and support for 0-5 year olds and their families
- Don’t miss our “Can-Do Carers” Coffee Morning at York Gardens Library

- Get Set GO 2!
This free event is at South Thames College, Wandsworth Campus and is about next steps into education, employment or training for young people, aged 14-25 with special needs and or disabilities. It’s for the young people, many of whom will be coming with their schools, parents, carers and the professionals working with young people. It’s on Monday 27 February, 10 am to 1pm, find out more and book your tickets now
- Supported Swimming Session
Every other Sunday, next one is on 22 Jan, 2 – 3pm. The Aspire Centre, SW18 5JU. £10 per session for the whole family to swim!
- LD Tennis
Every other Tuesday, 7 – 8.30pm. The National Tennis Centre, SW15 5JQ. £4 per person. No need to book, just turn up and play! Open to all ages with a learning disability.
- Autism Multi-Sports Club
Every Wednesday, 5 – 6pm. Tooting Leisure Centre, SW17 0NE. £4 per child (£2 with a valid WAND Card). Open for 5 – 11 years old
- Disability Dance
Every Sunday, 10.40 – 11.15am. Wandle Recreation Centre, SW18 4DN. £5 per child. Open for 5 – 16 years old.
