Who we are
Beatrix Potter Governing Body Membership and Committees
The governing body is made up of the headteacher, elected parents, members of staff, governors appointed by the local authority and co-opted community governors. The co- opted governors are selected for their particular skills or expertise to support the running of the school.
We have termly full governing body meetings and operate a number of sub-committees which also meet every term or more frequently if needed.
We are fortunate to have a considerable range of expertise on the governing body. This brings ‘fresh eyes’ to issues and enables the school to be innovative as well as maintaining the high standards we all expect.
