www.Buy.at/Beatrixpotterschool
This is the brand
new Beatrix Potter School Web Shop.
The way that it
works is as follows:
A company called
Perfiliate has created a Web Shop page for Beatrix Potter School, at no cost. This page can be accessed via the Internet at the
address: www.Buy.at/Beatrixpotterschool.
Once into the Web
Shop, you are presented with a list of companies, or types of purchase. If you click on one these you are taken to that
companys own web page. If, after
looking at what they have to offer, you wish to buy something from them, you go through
the normal registration process and pay via a debit or credit card. The purchase transaction is between you and the
shop concerned.
However, the smart
part is that because you accessed their web site via the Beatrix Potter Web Shop, we get a
commission for introducing the transaction. The
commission rates can be seen by placing your cursor over the shop concerned on the Beatrix
Potter Web Shop page.
The commissions are
paid to the PTA once they have reached a certain level.
Another feature of
the scheme is that it is obviously open to anyone. You
can tell all your friends, family, work colleagues etc. to use the facility and the
Beatrix Potter PTA will earn money each time that anyone uses it. The more people that know about it the better it
is.
We are obviously
not expecting everyone to do all their shopping via this means, but if people were going
to purchase things on the internet, we would hope that they would look at this option
first, as it will benefit the school and will cost them no more, as the prices that they
get on the various web sites will still be the same.
The companies in
our web shop will change from time to time and are all vetted by Perfiliate. If one drops out, other similar shops are brought
in to replace them. We also have the facility
to change the written message on the left hand side of the web page, if we want to.
The current shops
on the Web Shop page include:
Marks and Spencer,
Oddbins, Travel select, Amazon, Co-Op Electricals, The Kids Window, Party box,
International Flowers, CD-WOW, Sportzwear, Blackwells books, N4Sports, Super break,
First Choice Hampers, Furniture 123, Double-D Lingerie, The Little House Company, Car
Source and Car shock. More have just been
announced. Check the web site for details.
Please have a look
at the site and, if possible, use it for purchases where you can, as it will benefit the
school at no extra cost to yourselves.
Raising
Money For Beatrix Potter By
Going Green
Would
you like to give money to Beatrix Potter without it costing you anything at all?
Heres
How
.
If
you have an old mobile telephone or know someone with a computer then you can help. All
you need to do is to give us your old mobile telephone and/or save the empty used printer
cartridges that are used with the PCs printer. We can then arrange for the products
to either be collected or provide you with a FREEPOST return collection envelope or box.
Whats
It Worth?
Old
mobiles can be worth up to £22 each with their recharger, used toner cartridges can be
worth as much as £5 each whilst inkjet cartridges can be up to £2 each. Every year in
the UK tens of millions of empty printer inkjet and toner cartridges are thrown away. Most
end up in landfill waste sites where they can take up to 1,000 years before they even
begin to decompose. The average printer uses 6 cartridges a year so not only are you able
to make a sizable contribution to the work of Beatrix Potter but you can help the
environment at the same time. Virtually every cartridge except Epson ink tanks is included
in this cash for cartridges scheme.
